Place all ingredients in a slow cooker for 24 hours.
Drain bones/veggies saving the stock and discarding the bones.
Place broth in sealed container in the fridge – a layer of fat will form and this can be removed. The broth will become like jelly, this is normal. It can then be frozen in smaller quantities or ice cubes for later use. Will keep in the fridge for 3/4 days.
As promised, I’m just sending through my Green Smoothie recipe that seems to stop my hair from falling out within days. As I said, if I don’t have it for a couple of weeks, my hair starts rapidly falling out again. I’m not sure if its the iron, folate or B vitamins from the raw greens but it’s a bit miraculous how quickly my hair stops falling! It also doesn’t seem to work as well when I have the same amount of greens cooked, they need to be raw for some reason.
Here’s my basic recipe.
You can add other ingredients
Blend (don’t juice) in a good quality blender so it breaks down into a green liquid. I use the vitamix but the Ninja is also great.
