Complementary Therapies

What role can they play in helping me get pregnant?

Areas such as Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, herbal medicine or naturopathic therapy have been practiced for many years. Such modalities can provide useful knowledge about health and disease.

Can they help with my period pain?

Acupuncture can help with a range of gynaecological illnesses including painful periods. It is also commonly used during IVF treatment as it may help embryos implant.

Complimentary Treatment Approaches

The naturopaths and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Practitioners that Dr. Natasha works with and refers to are highly qualified and experienced, particularly in the field of fertility and gynaecology.

Dr. Natasha likes to recommend where there is clinical evidence and to work closely with complimentary health practitioners. She believes this provides her patients with the most well-rounded of care.

Each modality be it Western or Eastern has its strengths and Dr. Natasha likes to draw strengths from all to help provide the best care for her patients.

Are Complementary Therapies Effective?

Therapies can be used alongside conventional medicine to achieve very good outcomes. These therapies include naturopathy and Chinese medicine.

Dr. Andreadis is open to the use of complementary therapies that have been clinically proven to be safe and effective. She enjoys collaborating with complementary practitioners to achieve the best outcomes possible for patients.
